Welcome to CrickCoach AI ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application, website, and services (collectively, the "Service").

Where required by law and platform rules, we ask for explicit in-app consent before collecting, using, or sharing personal data with third-party AI providers.

If you do not agree with this policy or do not provide required consent, you can continue using non-AI features, but AI features that require third-party processing will be unavailable.

Information We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to provide and improve our core services.

1. Personal Information

• Name and email address (when registering or contacting us)
• Organization or academy name (if applicable)

We collect this information directly from you when you create an account, update your profile, contact support, or submit forms in the app or website.

2. Video Content & AI Processing

We allow users to upload cricket videos for technique analysis.

Videos are processed using our pose detection system to extract structured data such as body keypoints and movement metrics.

Important:

• Raw video files are NOT shared with third-party AI services
• Videos are used only within our system for processing and analysis

After processing, only non-visual structured data may be sent to a third-party AI service to generate feedback and analysis.

Specifically, when you provide permission in the in-app prompt, we may send the following categories of data to Google Gemini (Google LLC):

• Pose/keypoint time-series data (e.g., per-frame joint coordinates and confidence scores)
• Derived motion/biomechanics metrics computed from those keypoints
• Your selected coaching context (e.g., player type, playing side, shot/bowling/keeping type, requested plan length)
• For optional features like training plans or comparisons: prior analysis summaries/metrics needed to generate the requested output

This processed data does not include your raw video file.

We collect this information from your video upload and from our internal processing pipeline that extracts keypoints and performance metrics.

3. Usage Data

• Device type, OS version
• App usage patterns and features used
• Performance and analytics data

We collect this automatically through app events, logs, and diagnostics when you use the Service.

4. Technical Data

• IP address (for security and diagnostics)
• Approximate location (derived from IP, not precise GPS)
• Cookies (for web services)

We collect this automatically from your device and network connection when requests are made to our servers.

How We Use Your Information

We use your data only for legitimate purposes, including:

• To provide AI-based cricket coaching and analysis
• To process videos and generate feedback
• To improve our AI models and accuracy
• To provide performance tracking and insights
• To communicate updates and support responses
• To ensure security and prevent misuse
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not use personal data for third-party advertising or data brokerage.

Text-to-Speech: Our app may use on-device text-to-speech to read analysis results. This processing occurs locally and no data is shared externally.

User Consent

We respect your right to control your data.

Before we send any personal data to a third-party AI service (including processed movement data derived from your video), we present an in-app notice that explains what will be shared and with whom.

The notice identifies: (1) data categories shared, (2) the recipient provider, and (3) the purpose of sharing. You must tap an explicit consent action before any sharing occurs.

Users must provide explicit consent before:

• Uploading videos
• Using AI-powered analysis features
• Sharing processed data with third-party AI services

If you do not consent, you can still use non-AI parts of the app, but features that require third-party AI processing may be unavailable.

You can withdraw consent at any time from in-app privacy controls (or by contacting us). After withdrawal, we stop new third-party AI sharing for your account, except where processing is required to complete a request you already submitted.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do NOT sell your data.

We may share data only in the following cases:

1. Third-Party AI Services

If you provide permission in the app, we may share processed movement data (pose/keypoint time-series and derived metrics) and relevant user-selected context with Google Gemini (Google LLC) to generate personalized cricket analysis, comparisons, and training plans.

These providers:

• Do not receive raw video
• Receive only the minimum data needed to generate the requested output
• Are required to protect the data with safeguards that are equal to or stronger than those described in this policy

2. Authentication Providers

If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, your sign-in is handled by Google LLC or Apple Inc. We receive basic profile information (such as name and email) from those providers to create/secure your account.

3. Email Delivery Providers

If you request an email verification code or password reset, we share your email address and the email content with our email delivery provider (e.g., SMTP2GO) to send that message.

4. Service Providers

• Cloud storage, analytics, and infrastructure providers
• Only to operate and improve our service

We require these providers to handle data only under our instructions and to provide protections that are the same as or stronger than the protections described in this policy.

Account Deletion

You can request account deletion at any time. (Ensure this feature is also available inside the app to comply with Apple guidelines.)

• Some data may be retained if required by law

AI request/response records and operational logs are retained only for service delivery, security, and troubleshooting, then deleted or anonymized based on our retention schedule.

Children’s Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If detected, it will be deleted immediately.

International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside your location. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

We may update this policy periodically. Updates will be posted with a revised "Last Updated" date.
